Autodesk Forma

What it is

You can show your site cameras inside an Autodesk Forma project. VisionHub generates a link with the cameras you choose and, once you paste it into the VisionHub card on the Insight dashboard, the whole team sees the live stream or the latest photo of each camera without leaving Forma.

To generate the link you need permission to create share links in the project.

  1. Open Project settings, find the Integrations card and open the Autodesk Forma tab.

  2. Pick the cameras you want to show by clicking them; you can select one or several.

  3. Choose the content mode:

    • Live and latest photo: shows the live video and the latest photo of each camera.
    • Latest photo only: shows only the latest photo, which updates itself.

  4. Click Generate link.

  5. Copy the link with the copy button. To check what will be shown, open the preview.

The link has this format: https://app.visionhub.es/embed/<code>.

Add the card in Autodesk Forma

  1. Sign in to Autodesk Forma and, in Hubs and projects, select the project where you want to show the cameras.

  2. In the Forma Design product selector (top left), select Insight.

  3. In My dashboard, click Customize.

  4. In the Card library, search for “VisionHub” and select the card to add it to the dashboard.

  5. On the VisionHub card, click Configure.

  6. Paste the link into Partner URL and click Save.

The VisionHub card now shows the site cameras on the project’s Insight dashboard. You only need to set it up once.

If you see the message “The server did not respond correctly. Try again and, if the problem persists, contact support.”, click Retry. If the error keeps happening, reach us through the support chat.
