Weather filters in timelapse
What it is
When configuring a timelapse request, you can filter which images are included based on the condition they were taken in: sunny, night, rainy, or cloudy. This option, previously only visible to the internal Droneit team, is now available to every user.
How to use it
- Go to Timelapse → Request timelapse.
- In the Configuration step of the wizard, find the Condition filters section.
- Select the conditions you want to exclude from the final video (optional — if you don’t select any, all available images are used).
Requirements and limitations
- Filtering by rain or clouds can significantly reduce the number of available images, so the final video may end up shorter than expected.
- The final timelapse also goes through an internal quality review before it’s available — see Automatic timelapses.
