User roles
Visionhub has a role system to control access and available features for each project user. There are four main roles:
Role types
👤 User
The User role is the basic access level for a project.

🔧 Admin
The Admin role includes all User permissions plus:

👑 Owner
The Owner role includes all Admin permissions plus:

⚙️ Custom
With the custom role, you can select specific capabilities per user. A configuration window lets you enable or disable features by category via the tabs at the top.

Role assignment
Roles are assigned from the Project settings panel by users with Admin, Owner, or Custom roles that include this capability.
Role changes
Roles can be modified at any time by:
- Owner: Can change any role, including assigning new admins
- Admin: Can change user roles, but cannot modify the owner role
Important considerations
- A project must always have at least one Owner
- We recommend at least one Admin in addition to the owner
- Custom roles should be configured carefully to maintain project security
- Role changes take effect immediately and may require the user to sign in again
